Anti-Bribery & Corruption Policy

Introduction

At Sports Insider Daily, we are committed to conducting all business with integrity, transparency, and fairness. Bribery and corruption are unethical, illegal, and undermine the trust placed in our journalism and our brand.

This policy establishes a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption in all forms.

What Is Bribery?

Bribery is offering, giving, receiving, or soliciting anything of value to improperly influence a decision, secure an unfair advantage, or gain preferential treatment. Examples include:

  • Cash payments or kickbacks.
  • Lavish gifts, entertainment, or hospitality intended to sway decisions.
  • Personal favors, perks, or benefits offered in exchange for coverage or business deals.
  • Political or charitable contributions made to gain influence.

Scope

This policy applies to:

  • All Sports Insider Daily employees, contractors, freelancers, and interns.
  • Third parties acting on behalf of Sports Insider Daily (agents, consultants, vendors, partners, advertisers).
  • All interactions, both domestic and international.

Our Commitments

  1. Zero Tolerance
    • No form of bribery, facilitation payment, or corruption will be tolerated.
  2. Gifts & Hospitality
    • Modest, reasonable, and transparent gifts or hospitality may be accepted if they do not create — or appear to create — a conflict of interest.
    • Lavish, excessive, or secretive gifts are prohibited.
  3. Editorial Independence
    • Journalists, editors, and contributors must never accept money, favors, or incentives in exchange for favorable coverage, interviews, or editorial decisions.
  4. Third-Party Integrity
    • Vendors, partners, and advertisers are expected to comply with this policy.
    • Any partner engaging in corrupt practices may face termination of contracts.
  5. Transparency & Record-Keeping
    • All expenses, sponsorships, and partnerships must be accurately documented and recorded.
    • Payments must never be hidden or misrepresented.
  6. Reporting Concerns
    • Employees are encouraged to report suspected bribery or corruption through HR, management, or the Ethics & Compliance Officer.
    • Anonymous reporting channels will be made available.
  7. Non-Retaliation
    • Employees who raise concerns in good faith are protected from retaliation under our Whistleblower Protection Policy.

Consequences of Violations

  • Any employee found to be engaging in bribery or corruption will face disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
  • Violations may also result in civil or criminal penalties under applicable laws.
