Brock Purdy Shreds Titans As 49ers Roll To 37–24 Win

By Tiffany Williams –

49ers steamrolled the Titans 37–24 at Levi’s Stadium and it wasn’t even close. Brock Purdy was surgical, slicing through a hapless Tennessee secondary like a hot knife through butter—23 of 30 for 295 yards, three touchdowns, zero interceptions, a 140.3 passer rating. The guy added 44 yards on the ground, basically playing quarterback and running back at the same time while making it look effortless. Christian McCaffrey carried the 49ers’ ground game on his back, 73 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries, plus a catch for 14 yards. And Jauan Jennings? Three catches, two of them touchdowns. That’s the kind of red-zone efficiency Tennessee can only dream about.

San Francisco’s offense moved the ball at will, 38 rushes for 138 yards, Purdy connecting with George Kittle for a TD, Ricky Pearsall racking up 96 receiving yards, Demarcus Robinson chiming in with 36 yards—this was a fully loaded machine operating in overdrive. Tennessee tried to keep up. Cam Ward tossed for 170 yards and two touchdowns, and Tony Pollard ran for 104 yards and a score, but it wasn’t nearly enough. The Titans defense made 85 tackles but couldn’t create turnovers, and Joey Slye missed a field goal, sealing Tennessee’s fate.

The game was over the moment Purdy hit Jennings for that first-quarter touchdown. San Francisco’s defense may not have snagged an interception, but they smothered Tennessee on key downs, Malik Mustapha led the team with 10 tackles, and the rest of the crew made sure Cam Ward never found a rhythm. Brian Robinson Jr. added a spark in the return game, but even that couldn’t mask the gap in talent.

This wasn’t a statement win—it was a demolition. San Francisco is 10–4, firing on all cylinders, and Tennessee is 2–12, limping into oblivion. The 49ers looked like a team ready for playoff domination while the Titans looked like a practice squad trying to keep up. If you’re a Titans fan, you’ve got a lot of soul-searching to do. San Francisco didn’t just win; they made it painfully obvious why they’re a serious contender.
