Patriots Move Up to First in the AFC East with Dominant Win over Titans

Nashville, TN – The New England Patriots defeated the Tennessee Titans by a score of 31-13 on Sunday, October 19th, 2025. The Patriots committed zero turnovers and also went 100% on fourth down conversions to keep their drives alive. 

For the Patriots, Drake Maye was on fire, going 21-23 with 222 yards and two touchdowns. Wideout Kayshon Boutte caught a touchdown pass, and so did tight end Austin Hooper. Running back Rhamondre Stevenson added a TD on the ground. The defense was also on fire, with five total sacks, two of those from Linebacker K’Lavon Chaisson. Chaisson also scored a TD off a scoop and score after Tennessee quarterback Cam Ward fumbled after being sacked. 

The Titans had no success running the football, recording only 39 total rushing yards in the game. Wide receiver Chimere Dike caught the only touchdown for Tennessee. Cam Ward, the number one pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, went 25/34, 255 yards, with one TD and one pick. 

With the win, the Patriots passed the Bills for the number one spot in the AFC East and are undefeated on the road. 

The Patriots will look to carry their momentum into their next matchup, hosting the struggling Cleveland Browns this weekend.
