16 year old Tanner Rosborough called up to U-17 National Team.

The New York Red Bulls who are coming off a playoff run in 2024 are looking to start their 2025 campaign off with a road win against FC Cincinnati. Last year, the Red Bulls won two out of three matches, with a tie score in one game.

With the new campaign kicking off first year, 16 year old Tanner Rosborough the Pittsburgh Native is making his first team debut this season with the first team. He has also been selected to the Concacaf Qualifiers United States U-17 National Team Roster, which is his first call up to the U-17s.

Tanner has spent his last two seasons with Red Bull ll. He made 25 MLS Next appearances and recorded seven goals, and three assists. He also scored a goal in five-straight matches, which is the second-longest goal scoring streak in franchise history. Tanner scored his first career MLS NEXT Pro goal on June 30, 2024, against Columbus Crew ll, and he became the fourth youngest goal scorer in franchise history at 16 years, 101 days old. Rosborough scored two goals in six matches to help the United States clinch the U-15 CONCACAF Championship title in 2023.

The United States U-17 has been placed in Group F of the competition and will play three matches against the U.S. Virgin Islands, St. Kitts and Nevis, and Cuba from February 2 to February 16 in Costa Rica. The top team group will advance to November’s FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar.
