In a game that was never truly close the Green Bay Packers opened up the Thanksgiving night bout with two touchdowns going up 14-0 by the end of the first quarter.
Jayden Reed and Josh Jacobs were the two Packers players to find the endzone in front of the home crowd while their opponents the Miami Dolphins were scoreless until 8 minutes left in the second quarter when Jason Sanders hit a 33 yard field goal to give Miami three points.
The Packers would continue to pour it on in Lambeau Field with another Jayden Reed touchdown and a Brandon McManus field goal giving Green Bay a 24-3 lead at halftime.
The Dolphins would get two touchdowns down the stretch from De’Von Achane and Tyreek Hill while the Packers added on two more field goals from Brandon McManus to win 30-17.
Jordan Love threw for 274 passing yards with Tucker Kraft catching 78 yards and Jacobs catching 74 of those yards along with rushing for 43 yards and adding that rushing touchdown from the first quarter. Jayden Reed had 23 rushing yards and 24 receiving yards and 2 receiving touchdowns.
Tua for the Dolphins threw for 365 yards with Jonnu Smith catching 10 passes for 113 yards while Tyreek Hill added 83 receiving yards of his own.
Miami will head back to warm weather as they play at home next week against division rival the New York Jets with kickoff scheduled for 1:00pm EST.
