Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia Thursday night, the Philadelphia Eagles hosted the Washington Commanders who were on top through the third quarter. But the Eagles took over in the fourth quarter to grab a 26-18 win. The Eagles have now won their last six matchups.
With 3:26 remaining in the first quarter, Brian Robinson Jr. rushed for a score, and the extra point attempt by Zane Gonzalez was good to get the Commanders into this game 7-0.
In the second quarter, Jake Elliott got the Eagles into this game with a 21-yard field goal to make it a 7-3 game.
In the third quarter, the Commanders extended their lead to 10-3 with Zane Gonzalez, making a 45-yard field goal. The Eagles made it a 10-6 game with Jake Elliott making a 31-yard field goal.
In the fourth quarter the Eagles came alive, putting their foot on the gas and driving this home with Jalen Hurts rushing for a score, and Saquon Barkley rushing for two scores and putting the Eagles on top 10-26. But with 26 seconds remaining, the Commanders made it an 18-26 game with Jayden Daniels finding Zach Ertz to register his tenth passing touchdown of the season, and then Daniels connected with Ertz for the two-point conversion.
