At Greene Stadium in Washington, DC on Saturday the Howard Bisons hosted the Delaware State Hornets, and grabbed a 38-0 win. It was the first win for the Bisons since October 12, when they beat Sacred Heart 21-14.
Ja’Shawn Scroggins in the first quarter connected with Breylin Smith for his first passing touchdown of the game. Scroggins connected with Kasey Hawthorne and Montrell Walker in the second quarter to register his second and third passing touchdowns. In the third quarter Scroggins rushed for a score, and in the fourth quarter he connected with Hawthorne again for his fourth passing touchdown of the game.
Up next for Howard is South Carolina State on November 9 at Greene Stadium. The last time out on November 4, 2023, the Bisons lost to South Carolina 24-27.
