Connecticut Sun Secures 93-82 Win Against Minnesota  Lynx In WNBA Semifinals Game 4

The Connecticut Sun delivered an impressive performance on Sunday, securing a WNBA Semifinals game five by defeating the Minnesota Lynx with a final score of 92-82 at Mohegan Sun Arena.

Ty Harris emerged as a standout player for the Sun, achieving a postseason career-high of 20 points and three rebounds. She displayed exceptional accuracy from beyond the three-point line, making four out of five attempts, and contributed significantly to the team’s victory during her 30 minutes on the court.

Alyssa Thomas showcased an outstanding all-around performance, coming incredibly close to achieving a triple-double with 18 points, eight rebounds, 11 assists, and one steal. Her remarkable 11 assists propelled her to fourth place in WNBA postseason history for total assists, surpassing Chelsea Gray and bringing her career playoff assists to 307.

DeWanna Bonner also made a substantial impact, contributing 18 points, eight rebounds, four assists, four steals, and one block to secure the Sun’s victory.

DiJonai Carrington delivered a standout performance, achieving a postseason career-high of 15 points, along with four rebounds, three assists, two steals, and one block.

The Sun’s victory brought their Game 4 record to 3-5 all-time and their record when facing elimination to 13-16 all-time. With the series now tied 2-2, the decisive game five is scheduled to take place at the Target Center in Minneapolis on October 8th.
