In the Celtics’ second preseason game against the Denver Nuggets on Sunday, they secured an impressive 130-104 victory, maintaining their perfect 5-0 record in preseason games since October 11, 2023.
Derrick White made a crucial seven-foot two-point shot with an assist from Luke Kornet, setting the tone for the game. White delivered a stellar performance, scoring 13 points in 23 minutes of play. His contributions included two offensive rebounds, three defensive rebounds, six assists, and a steal. He showcased his shooting ability by going 5-10 from the field, 2-6 in three-pointers, and 1-1 from the free-throw line.
Jaylen Brown led the scoring for the Celtics with 21 points, along with an offensive rebound and three assists. Jayson Tatum also made a significant impact, contributing 17 points, two defensive rebounds, four assists, and a steal.
The Celtics’ bench players were instrumental, contributing a total of 67 points, with Tillman, Hauser, and Pritchard combining for 39 points.
