In what was looking like a Ravens win, being up 10 in the fourth quarter saw the Raiders climb back and leave Baltimore with a 26-23 win.
Lamar Jackson would end the game with 247 passing yards, a passing touchdown and an interception. Jackson also added 45 rushing yards on the ground in the loss as the Ravens are now 0-2. The 2023 NFL MVP is now the first reigning MVP since Kurt Warner in 2002 to begin a season after winning MVP 0-2.
Raiders quarterback Gardner Minshew matched Jackson in the passing game with 276 passing yards along with a passing touchdown and one interception.
Despite the loss Baltimore would get some production from its star players as Derrick Henry ran for 84 yards and a touchdown off of 18 carries while Zay Flowers had seven catches for 91 receiving yards and a receiving touchdown.
For the Raiders Davante Adams had 110 receiving yards and a touchdown off of nine catches while teammate and rookie Brock Bowers had 98 receiving yards off of nine catches.
Where Las Vegas capitalized most was in the kicking game as Daniel Carlson went 4/4 on field goals including the go ahead field goal in the fourth while his opponent and fellow kicker Justin Tucker went three for four. from field goal range.
Baltimore will look to get back in the win column next Sunday when they travel to Dallas to take on the Cowboys with kickoff scheduled for 4:25 PM EST.
