Buffalo Bills Blow Out Miami Dolphins 31-10

By Stephen Ur –

The Buffalo Bills were on the road for their Week 2 game as they took on the Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, FL on Thursday night. They were coming off a Week 1 win where they overcame a 17-3 deficit against the Arizona Cardinals to win.

Buffalo’s defense made the first big play of the game as Ja’Marcus Ingram intercepted a Tua Taugovailoa pass off a deflection. The offense would capitalize as James Cook caught a Josh Allen pass and scored from 17 yards out.

The Dolphins would answer with a touchdown of their own as Taugovailoa found his own running back, De’Von Achane for a five-yard score. After Tyler Bass kicked a 43 yard field goal to give the Bills a 10-7 lead in the second quarter, Cook would score twice more, and Buffalo held a 24-10 lead at halftime.

Ingram would record his second interception on the Bills first defensive drive of the second half, returning this one for a touchdown to make the score 31-10.

On a fourth down run towards the end of the third quarter, Tua ran into Damar Hamlin and was knocked out of the game with a concussion.

Buffalo would hold on for a 31-10 win to improve to 2-0 on the season. They will host the Jacksonville Jaguars as part of a Monday Night Football doubleheader on Sept. 23. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET.
