Buffalo Bills Survive Scare, Defeat Arizona Cardinals 34-28

The Buffalo Bills hosted the Arizona Cardinals at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, NY on Sunday afternoon. They came into the game as a 6.5 point favorite.

Arizona got on the board first as Kyler Murray found Michael Wilson for a five-yard touchdown, giving the Cardinals a 7-0 lead.

Leading 10-3, James Conner scored from three yards out, making it a 17-3 Arizona lead. Josh Allen would rush for a seven-yard score with 19 seconds left in the half to make it a 17-10 game at halftime.

Buffalo would tie the game with 9:51 in the third quarter as Allen threw his first touchdown pass of the season, finding Mack Hollins on an 11-yard pass, to tie the game at 17
They would take their first lead of the game later in the third as Allen threw another 11 yard touchdown, this one going to Khalil Shakir. Allen’s second rushing touchdown of the game extended the Bills’ lead to 31-20 with 8:44 remaining.

Arizona would close it to a 34-28 game, but with 26 seconds left, they failed on a 4th and 7 and the Bills would escape with a 34-28 win.

Buffalo will travel down to Miami where they will face their AFC East rival Miami Dolphins on Thursday night. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. ET.
