By Zachary McMahon-

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers hosted the Miami Dolphins at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL on Friday night for the final preseason game of 2024.

Baker Mayfield played the first possession of the Bucs offense and went 3/3 with 54 passing yards, before Kyle Trask played the rest of the game.

Rachaad White scored the first touchdown of the game for the Bucs in the first quarter, and then got into a 17-0 lead when Trask threw a 10-yard pass to Ryan Miller.

Skylar Thompson threw two touchdown passes as they cut the deficit to three, but Trask was able to throw his third passing touchdown to pad the lead, and then the defense didn’t allow any points in the fourth quarter, as the Bucs won 24-14 over the Dolphins.

The Bucs will be opening up the regular season at home against the Washington Commanders on Sept. 8 at 4:25 pm on FOX.
