The Commanders after having five selections on day two only had three picks going into day three.
Washington had multiple picks in the fifth round. The Commanders used those two draft choices on Jordan Magee a linebacker from Temple and Dominique Hampton a safety from Washington.
Day 3 was a draft full of only defensive players and Washington then drafted a Notre Dame Edge Rusher Javontae Jean-Baptiste in the seventh round.
