After shocking the world in round one with the eighth overall selection the Falcons began day two by trading up with the Arizona Cardinals.

The Falcons sent their 43rd and 79th selections for the 35th and 186th selections. Pick 186 will be selected tomorrow, while Atlanta used the 35th pick on Ruke Orhorhoro the defensive tackle out of Clemson. Orhorhoro was the only round two pick for Atlanta.

The Falcons nearly 40 picks later would be back on the clock with the 74th selection choosing to go once again with defense. Bralen Trice of Washington will join Orhorhoro on the midnight train to Georgia after Day 2.

Trice was the sixth Washington prospect taken off the board joining Michael Penix Jr who was the first Washington prospect and arrived in Atlanta this morning.

Penix Jr was the pick heard round the world to begin round 1 and it definitely left fans with an uneasy feeling. But after going offense in an offense field first round,  both round two and three picks were defensive guys.

Atlanta will conclude the draft on Saturday with five selections over rounds four, five, six, and seven
