The Hawks Monday night were on the road in Sacramento for a meeting with the Kings and lost 107-122. It was the second meeting between the Hawks and Kings this season and the second loos for the Hawks to the Kings. On December 29th, 2023 the Hawks lost 110-117.
Dejounte Murray finished tonight with 35 points, ten defensive rebounds, and six assists. Murray with his tenth rebound of the game became the first Hawk since the 2019-20 season to tally at least 30 points, 10 rebounds and five assists in a single game.
Biddable Bogdanovic, who played 33 minutes tonight, made a three-pointer in his 52nd consecutive game. Bogdanovic finished with 18 points on the board, two defensive rebounds, and four assists.
Saddiq Bey had had 13 points on the board tonight and finished with two offensive rebounds, five offensive rebounds, and two assists.
Jalen Johnson and Clint Capela both finished with eleven points, while Garrison Mathews tallied nine points and Onyeka Okongwu tallied eight points.
There were three lead changes tonight and the game was tied twice. Atlanta made 14 three point field goals and 21 free throws.
Tonight was game one of a two-game West Coast trip for Atlanta. Wednesday night they’ll head to Golden State and then return home for a six-game homestand.
