Fordham 44, Stonehill 0

The Rams shutout the Skyhawks to improve to 3-1 on the season. C.J Montes threw for 220 yards and two touchdowns while running back Julius Loughridge ran for 108 yards and two touchdowns of his own.

Maryland 31, Michigan State 9

Taulia Tagovailoa had four combined touchdowns in the win as he passed for three and ran for one. Tagovailoa combined for 260 total yards with 223 yards thrown in the air and 37 on the ground. The Maryland defense forced four turnovers with three interceptions and one fumble in the win to improve to 4-0.

New Hampshire 25, Delaware 29

Ryan O’Connor had three passing touchdowns and 336 passing yards in the close win. Blue Hen running back Marcus Yams ran for the game winning touchdown, also adding 105 rushing yards to help the Blue Hens improve to 3-1.

Georgia 49, UAB 21

Carson Beck threw for 338 yards and three touchdowns, two of them went to Brock Bowers who also caught nine passes for 121 yards. Daijun Edwards also ran for two touchdowns as the number one ranked Georgia improved to 4-0 on the season.

Trinity College 48, Colby College 7

Trinity College improves to 2-0 while Colby College falls to 0-2. Trinity kicker Matthew James kicked four field goals and kicked four extra points. Trinity quarterback Spencer Fetter threw for three passing touchdowns.

Williams College 0, Bowdin 20

Williams College is now 1-1 after being shutout in the loss. Bowdin quarterback Andrew Boel had one passing touchdown to Brendan King and a rushing touchdown in the win.

Coast Guard 14,  Springfield 63

Springfield improved to 3-1 behind eight rushing touchdowns scored by six different players and a punt block touchdown. The leading rusher, Arsen Shtefan had 140 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown.

Clark Atlanta 14, Miles College 55

Miles College improves to 3-1 while Clark Atlanta falls to 0-4. Miles College quarterback Edwin Kleinpeter Jr had four passing touchdowns while throwing for 260 yards. Kleinpeter also had 20 yards rushing and a rushing touchdown.

Morehouse 13, Edward Waters 44

Edward Waters got their first win of the season against Morehouse who still hasn’t picked up a win this season. De’Shaun Hugee ran for 65 yards and two touchdowns while Jyron Russell threw for 280 yards and two touchdowns.

Morgan State 17, University at Albany 23

Reese Poffenbarger had three total touchdowns to leave the Great Danes to an overtime win. Poffenbarger had two passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown, the rushing touchdowns was a game winner helping the Great Danes to a record of 2-2.

Cornell 23, Yale 21

Cornell cornerback Jameson Wang threw for a touchdown and ran for another, but it was kicker Jackson Kennedy who proved to be a hero. He kicked a game-winning 39-yard field goal as time expired to give Cornell the two-point. He made three field goals in all in the win.

Holy Cross 47, Colgate 7

Holy Cross showed up and showed out in their Patriot League opener as quarterback Matthew Sluka threw four touchdowns in a 40-point victory. They recorded 507 yards of offense in the game, as well.

Georgia Southern 40, Ball State 3

Georgia Southern quarterback Davis Brin threw for 344 yards and four touchdowns and kicker Michael Lantz kicked four field goals in the Eagles’ blowout road win. They totaled 530 yards of offense.

New Mexico 34, UMass 31 (OT)

New Mexico freshman backup quarterback Ahmad Hatson threw a 65-yard touchdown to Anthony Simpson with 45 seconds left to send the game into overtime. After UMass kicked a field goal, Jacory Croskey-Merritt scored the game-winning touchdown for the Lobos.

William & Mary 28, Maine 3

The run game proved strong for William & Mary to remain undefeated on the season. Bronson Yoder rushed for 163 yards, and Malachi Imoh rushed for 103 himself. All in all, W&M rushed for 331 yards in the game. To put that into perspective, they had 390 total yards, meaning 85 percent of their yards came on the ground.

Harvard 34, Brown 31

Harvard quarterback Charles DePrima threw for three touchdowns and ran for another as Harvard defeated Brown in their Ivy League opener. The win is also the 12th consecutive for the Crimson over Brown.

Georgia State 30, Coastal Carolina 17

Georgia State running back Marcus Carroll and quarterback Darren Grainger both rushed for touchdowns in their win over Coastal Carolina on Thursday night. Grainger also threw for 191 yards and a touchdown. 

Tufts 44, Bates 16 

Tufts quarterback Michael Berluti threw for a touchdown and ran for a touchdown and kicker Vaughn Seelicke kicked three field goals as they got their first win of the season with a blowout win over Bates.

Amherst College 17, Hamilton College 14

Sophomore Luke Harmon intercepted a pass late in the fourth that set up the game-winning field goal for Matthew Kelley as Amherst College won their home opener.

Husson 50, Anna Maria College 49

Quarterback Ryan Russell threw for 539 yards for the Amcats, but it wasn’t enough as they fell by one in a high-scoring affair on the road. 

Bowie State 10, St Augustine 7

Bowie State running back Carleton Stewart rushed for 116 yards, but it was the defense that proved to be the key to victory as they held St Augustine’s offense to just 189 total yards in the low-scoring affair.
