The Atlanta Falcons hosted the Green Bay Packers at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, GA on Sunday afternoon. Both teams were looking to improve to 2-0 after Week 1 wins.

The Falcons got on the board first with a field goal from Youngho Koo. That would prove to be the lone score of the first quarter. In the seconc quarter, the Packers scored the game’s first touchdown when quarterback Jordan Love found receiver Jaylen Reed from nine yards out. They would add a field goal to take a 10-3 lead with 3:06 left in the half.

With just 12 seconds left, Falcons quarterback Desmond Ridder found receiver Drake London for a three-yard touchdown. Unfortunately, the PAT was missed, and the Packers held a 10-9 lead at half.

Reed scored his second touchdown of the game with 56 seconds left in the third, and the Packers led 24-12 headed into the fourth. The Falcons would score the next 13 points in the game, a six-yard touchdown run from Ridder and a 39 yard field goal from Koo, before Koo kicked the game-winning 25-yard field goal with 57 seconds left.

The Falcons used another strong fourth quarter to improve to 2-0 with the 25-24 win over the Packers. They will be on the road for the first time this season next week when they take on the Detroit Lions at Ford Field in Detroit, MI. Kickoff for that game is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET.
