Atlanta Braves
The Atlanta Braves lost their final series of the regular season to the Washington Nationals after sweeping the Chicago Cubs. The Braves dropped two of the three games 10-6 and 10-9, the 10-9 loss was the final game of the season. Atlanta has the first seed in the National League for the MLB playoffs and receives a bye. Atlanta had the best record in baseball to end the season with a record of 104-58.
Washington Nationals
The Washington Nationals ended their season with a series win over the Atlanta Braves. The Nationals finished the season with a record of 71-91 which was second to last in the National League. The Nationals season is now over.
Baltimore Orioles
The Baltimore Orioles split their final series with the Boston Red Sox. The Orioles now have a record of 101-61 which is first in the American League and second best in the MLB. Baltimore receives a bye as the first seed going to the MLB playoffs.
Boston Red Sox
The Boston Red Sox won their final game of the season to split their final season series. The Red Sox finished 12 games behind of a wild card spot while also finishing fifth in the American League East. Boston also was ninth in the American League with a record 78-84.
