Atlanta Hawks Lose 137-135 To The Bucks

After beating San Antonio Thursday night, the Hawks were in Milwaukee, WI. at the Fiserv Forum Saturday night, where they lost to the Bucks, 137-135.

Dejounte Murray and Trae Young together poured in 62 points in the Hawks’ loss. 

Murray finished with two defensive rebounds, three helpers, and two thefts. In his first theft of the night, Murray reached 600 for his career.

Young finished tonight’s game with two offensive rebounds, 12 helpers, and two thefts. It was Young’s 64th career 30-point, 10-assist outing, as well as his 180th career double-double. Young is one double-double shy of tying Dikembe Mutombo for the 10th-most double-doubles in franchise history.

Saddiq Bey finished the night with 17 points on the board, three offensive rebounds, six defensive rebounds, and one helper. Tonight was Bey’s fourth 15+ point game.

Clint Capela finished the night with just ten points, eight offensive rebounds, nine defensive rebounds, four helpers, one theft, and denied three. 

De’Andre Hunter, Saturday night finished with 12 points, and with his third free throw made tonight, he has knocked down 30 consecutive free throws since November 14 at Detroit.

Next up for the Hawks is a trip back home to State Farm Arena where they will host the Nets Wednesday night. Wednesday’s contest between Atlanta and Brooklyn marks the second of four contests this season.
