At FedEx Field in Landover Sunday, the Commanders hosted the New York Giants, and with a 31-19 loss to the Giants, the Commanders now own two straight losses and are now 4-7. Sunday’s loss was the second loss to the Giants this season. On October 22, the Commanders lost 14-7 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ.
Joey Slye made a 23-yard field goal in the first quarter and a 42-yard field goal in the third quarter.
Sam Howell finished Sunday recording a rushing touchdown in the second quarter and a receiving touchdown in the second quarter. Howells rushing touchdown was the third of his career.
On defense, David Mayo recorded two sacks while Jamin Davis, Daron Payne, Benjamin St-Juste, and Casey Toohill each recorded one sack.
