The Howard Bisons on Saturday traveled to Ryan Field in Evanston, Illinois for a week six matchup with Big Ten opponent Northwestern, and fell to the Wildcats, 20-23.
On defense, it was a team effort with senior defensive back Ray Williams, junior linebacker Terrance Hollon and senior defensive back Carson Hinton all collecting eight tackles. Hinton recorded a career-high two tackles for losses.
Eden James had his best day, rushing for a career-high 177 on 21 carries and catching three passes for 36 yards. Quinton Williams completed 18-of-30 for 169 yards and continued to spread the ball to nine different receivers.
Next up for Howard is a trip to the Bay State for a meeting with Harvard Saturday, October 14, at 1 p.m.
