The Washington Commanders travel into Philadelphia to take on the Eagles in week four Sunday afternoon action. This is the first NFC East game for the Commanders on their schedule.
Washington has an all time record of 89-82-5 against Philadelphia with a 43-42-2 record when they play on the road in Philadelphia.
The Commanders since the 2020 season are the only other team besides the Eagles to win multiple games at Lincoln Financial Field as the Commanders are 3-3 versus the Eagles in the last three seasons.
For both teams this division rivalry has a little extra salt in the wound as Washington handed Philadelphia their first loss of the year last season in week 10.
The Commanders will look to keep the ball on the ground as their run game has been one of the league’s best since week 10 of last season.
Brian Robinson Jr in particular has the longest active streak of 50 plus rushing yard games in a row with 10. Since week 10 of last year Robinson Jr has the sixth most rushing yards per game with 79.4 and is seventh in rushing yards with 794.
For the injury report the Commanders will be without running back Chris Rodriguez Jr who is officially out. Safety Percy Butler is on the injury report as questionable.
For the Eagles wide receiver Quez Watkins and safety Sidney Brown are both listed as out with hamstring injuries, while safety Justin Evans is questionable with a neck injury.
The Washington Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles kickoff at Lincoln Financial Field at 1:00PM EST.
