2023 NFL Week 2 Preview: Cincinnati Bengals vs Baltimore Ravens

By Stephen Ur

The Baltimore Ravens will take on the Cincinnati Bengals this Sunday at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati, OH for Week 2. The Ravens are coming off a 25-9 win over the Houston Texans in Week 1 while the Bengals were blown out by the Cleveland Browns.

While Baltimore was able to cruise to a Week 1 victory, it came with a cost – or, costs. They have lost running back JK Dobbins to another season-ending injury, and they also fear defensive back Marcus Williams tore his pectoral muscle in the win, as well.

Things may look bad for Baltimore off the field, but in the field, they looked even worse for the Bengals as they lost to their in-state division rival Browns 24-3. Joe Burrow had recently signed a five-year, $275M deal with the Bengals the Wednesday before the game, so many were surprised how much he and the team struggled in Week 1.

There’s much room for improvement on the Ravens side despite winning their first game of the season. Quarterback Lamar Jackson didn’t throw a touchdown and newcomer Odell Beckham Jr only had two catches. Look for them to go through the air more in Week 2.

The game between the two AFC North rivals kicks off at 1 p.m. ET and will be broadcasted on CBS.
